Perform at Rancho Santa Fe Celebration Assembly

Join our super fun group and show off your moves. Ms. Shelly will make you look fabulous. This routine is lots of fun; everyone loves the song "UPTOWN FUNK."

In joining this program you agree that your child maybe videotaped and be used for any promotional purpose. In consideration of the acceptance of my childs entry I do hereby for and on my behalf of myself and my heirs and legal representative release and forever discharge the Litchfield School District and A Little Drama and any instructors of any harm or injuries which may be suffered by me or my child in connection with A Little Drama. I covenant not to sue and agree to assume all risk associated with my participation in this program.*refunds will not be given after participation in class.

Holiday Session

Mark your Calendar for Rancho Santa Fe Holiday Family Event on December 11th. A Little Drama will be performing a cute Christmas performance!

Rehearsal starting Wednesday, Nov.5th

This group will march in the Litchfield Park Christmas in the Park Parade on December 13th. This is a fun, free event featuring arts and crafts, vendors, and children's activities.

Join us for an exciting opportunity to dance and shine in A Little Drama’s Theatre Arts & Dance Program! 

 Rehearsals will take place every Wednesday afternoon. 

Through this program, students will:

• Build self-confidence by performing in front of a live audience.

• Develop coordination, rhythm, and creative expression.

• Learn teamwork and leadership skills in a fun and supportive environment.

• Showcase their unique style and special moves .

A Little Drama’s Theatre Arts & Dance Program fosters creativity, discipline, and the joy of performance. We look forward to helping your child grow on stage and beyond!

Fee:$100 

How to pay: 

  • bring cash in an envelope with students name on and hand it to Ms.Shelly before class or at Parent pick up in front of the office

How to Pay:

You don't have to pay for all the sessions upfront. I just need a head count of how many students will be attending.

The Benefits of Theatre in Elementary School

Join us K-5th Boys and Girls

  • Self-Confidence: Taking risks in class and performing for an audience teach students to trust their ideas and abilities. This confidence will apply in nearly every aspect of their future.
  • Cooperation/Collaboration: Theatre combines the creative ideas and abilities from its participates
  • Imagination: In s world addicted to technology, theatre provides an outlet for making creative choices. Thinking new ideas, and interpreting the material in expressive ways that are the essence of drama
  • Empathy & Tolerance: Acting roles from different situation, time periods, and cultures promotes compassion and tolerance for others
  • Concentration: Playing, practicing, and performing develops a sustained focus of mind, body and voice which helps with other areas of life including school
  • Communication Skills: Drama enhances verbal and nonverbal expression ideas. It improves voice projection, articulation, fluency of language, and persuasive speech.
  • Problem Solving: Students learn to communicate the who, what, where, when, and why to the audience. Improvisation fosters quick-thinking solutions, which leads to greater adaptability in life 
  • Trust: the social interaction and risk taking in drama develop trust in self, others, and the process.
  • Memory: Rehearsing and performing the words, movement, and cues strengthen this skill like a muscle
